HELIOGRAF PARTNER OF THE POLISH FEATURE FILMS FESTIVAL IN GDYNIA ON 23-28 SEPTEMBER 2024
We are proud to announce that Heliograf is once again a Partner of the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia on 23-28 September 2024.
This year, six films qualified for the Main Competition with the participation of Heliograf, with our lighting and camera equipment. The list includes the following film titles:
1. “Woman of…” directed by Małgorzata Szumowska with cinematography by Michał Englert, produced by No-Mad Films, Plio Limited
2. “People” directed by Maciej Ślesicki and Filip Hillesland with cinematography by Mateusz Pastewka, produced by Warsaw Film School
3. “Mingun” directed by Jan.P. Matuszyński with cinematography by Kacper Fertacz, produced by Wonder Films
4. “Simona Kossak” directed by Adrian Panek with cinematography by Jakub Stolecki, produced by Balapolis
5. “Wrooklyn Zoo” directed by Krzysztof Skonieczny with cinematography by Adam Pietkiewicz, produced by Głębokie OFF
6. “Green border” directed by Agnieszka Holland with cinematography by Tomasz Naumiuk, produced by Metro Films
PFFF in Gdynia is taking place this year for the 49th time and is the most prestigious competition for feature and short films in Poland. Heliograf has the great honor of presenting the Special Award of 15,000 PLN to the best cinematographer of a Short Film during the Festival at the Young Gala. This year are qualified 29 films for this competition. The Special Award is awarded by the Young Gala Jury, and is a contribution for lighting and camera equipment from Heliograf Rental House to be used in future film production.
In this way, Heliograf supports young cinematographers and contributes to the development of Polish cinematography.
Traditionally, during the festival will take place the Heliograf`s Cocktail, on Thursday, 26th September at noon, this time at the Del Mar Restaurant!
