The 14th PSC Awards Gala – A Celebration of Cinematographers
On March 28th, the auditorium of the Akademia Sztuk Pięknych in Warsaw hosted the 14th Gala of the Stowarzyszenie Autorek i Autorów Zdjęć Filmowych PSC – one of the most important events for the cinematographic community in Poland. This exceptional gathering of visual storytellers, at which the most outstanding achievements in cinematography are recognized, serves each year as a key point of reference for the entire audiovisual industry.
Heliograf had the pleasure – as has become tradition – of supporting the event as a sponsor, actively participating in initiatives that promote quality, visual sensitivity, and the development of the art of cinematography.
Awards Granted by the Community
The PSC Awards hold a special significance – they are presented by cinematographers themselves, members of the Association. As PSC President Piotr Śliskowski emphasized in his opening address, this recognition comes from those who best understand the language of cinematic image and its role in building narrative.
Winners of the 14th PSC Awards

This is his fourth PSC Award – he was previously recognized for 25 lat niewinności. Sprawa Tomka Komendy, Rojst ’97, and Wielka Woda.

Honorary Awards
Nagroda Specjalna PSC This year’s distinction went to Dorota Roqueplo – an outstanding costume designer, honored for her remarkable ability to build characters through costume, which becomes a vehicle for emotion, era, and narrative. Nagroda PSC za całokształt twórczości One of the evening’s most prestigious honors was presented to Grzegorz Kędzierski – a cinematographer with an impressive career spanning more than 50 years. He was recognized for his contribution to the development of cinematographic art and the preservation of cinematic heritage. His collaborators have included Wojciech Jerzy Has, Kazimierz Kutz, and Jerzy Hoffman.
The gala was hosted by Błażej Hrapkowicz. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Akademia Sztuk Pięknych in Warsaw, and was supported by the Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej. The proper conduct of the competition and voting process was overseen by the law firm 2K Konsorcjum Kancelarii Adwokackich.
The PSC Awards have for years served as a meaningful benchmark of quality in the Polish film industry. They are not only a way of honoring the finest visual storytellers, but also a platform for building community, exchanging experience, and inspiring one another.
For Heliograf, the opportunity to support this event is not only an honor, but also a natural expression of our commitment to the development of the film industry and collaboration with its creators.
We congratulate all the winners and nominees, and look forward to the next edition of the gala.
