PARTNERS

We have been active on the market for over 30 years now, consistently supporting the development of young cinematography students for more than 15 of them by collaborating with various film schools – including the Lodz Film School, the Kieślowski Film School in Katowice, WSF, the Gdynia Film School and the Wajda School & Studio – in the production of school etudes and diploma films, as well as the so-called “30 Minutes” programme of shorts at the Munk Studio.

In 2015, for the first time, we funded an award for a student of the cinematography faculty of the Lodz Film School for Best Cinematography as part of the “In a Boat along the Vistula” Festival. And since supporting young, talented people like this makes us feel extremely happy and proud, we try to get involved in as many activities of this kind as we can. We therefore award the Heliograf Prize for cinematography in the short film competitions at both the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia and the “Young and Film” Festival in Koszalin, as well as in the Papaya New Directors Competition (previously known as the Papaya Young Directors Competition before 2023). We cooperate with the Polish Society of Cinematographers (PSC) and organise film education workshops so that people involved in this area can become familiar with the latest equipment, giving anyone who’s interested the opportunity to check out the new innovations. We also participate in trade fairs so we can stay totally ‘up-to-date’ ourselves, and engage in social campaigns.

If you’d like to find out more about our activities, or you’re interested in some form of collaboration, please contact us at: ania@heliograf.pl

Thank you and we hope to see you soon!
